Whether you’re still trying to get the hang of office life or a veteran trying to figure out what makes your younger colleagues tick, the blogosphere is jam-packed with insightful blogs from the most tech savvy generation ever that can help you out.

From fearless rants against the irrational side of the corporate world to tips and explanations on how to blaze your way through the the snarl of office politics and organizational charts, these blogs by or on the twenty-something folks known as Gen Y are sure to expand your thinking in 2010. Here they are in no particular order:

Life Without Pants — Thoughts on social media, marketing and living life without restrictions (like pants). The Lost Jacket — A continuation of the social media/ marketing/ missing clothing theme. Modite — Gen Yer Rebecca Thorman stirs the pot of conversation on topics ranging from career and design to PR and women at work. Man Vs. Debt — Advice on getting your financial footing from a guy who’s been there himself. His motto: “Sell your crap. Get out of debt. Do what you love.” Penelope Trunk — Always outspoken, occasionally brilliant, occasionally insane observations on office life and life in general from the woman behind Brazen Careerist. Dan Schawbel’s Personal Branding blog — Dan Schawbel leads by example, showing how to turn oneself into a one man (or woman) personal branding machine. Thought-provoking even if you don’t entirely buy into the whole idea of personal branding. OwlSparks — An opinionated Argentine perspective on the Gen Y experience. Ben Casnocha — Ideas on just about everything from a smart entrepreneur, author and traveller. Tammy Erickson on HBR — Harvard’s expert on generational issues at work. She might not be a Gen Yer herself but she has plenty to say about how people of all ages get along within organizations. Hoehns Musings — Rambling musings from Charlie Hoehn, a Gen Yer who somehow manages to score some of the best gigs going… though not always for pay.
